Effective September 1, 2023, Encompass clinics require 24 to 48 hours notice to cancel appointments. 24 hours notice is required for chiropractic, physiotherapy, naturopathy, and kinesiology visits. 48 hours notice is required for massage, osteopathy, and psychology visits. Chiropractic

Our chiropractors use a multidisciplinary approach that includes Active Release Techniques (ART), Shockwave therapy, Class 4 Deep Tissue Laser, Graston technique, IMS/Acupuncture, and Kinesiotaping. There are no add-on charges for any of our techniques, so our practitioners can choose the right combination of therapies without worrying about extra cost to their patients!


Physiotherapy

Our Calgary physiotherapists offer one on one, personalized sessions using a variety of techniques. All of our therapists are fully certified in IMS/Dry Needling, acupuncture, Shockwave therapy, Kinesiotaping, manual therapies, Laser therapy, and home care. By combining these skills, they are able to get fast, effective results for their patients, and help educate them to prevent future injury.

Dr. Josh Luk received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and his Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree from the University of Calgary.

Dr. Luk practices Diversified Technique, and focusses on providing patient-centered care. He utilizes spinal adjustments/mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, patient education, and rehabilitative exercise to provide the upmost standard of care. He believes in tailoring each treatment to the individual’s needs, and works together with his patients to achieve their individual goals. He has a wide range of clinical experience working in a multidisciplinary setting, and has worked with various demographics from adolescence to senior populations.

Josh enjoys an active lifestyle. He was a gold medalist at the Canadian National Wushu Championships in 2015. Outside of the clinic, you can find this weekend warrior playing recreational sports, hiking, and lifting things up an putting them back at the gym. Jessica was born and raised here in Calgary and obtained her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with distinction from the University of Calgary in 2016. She soon followed that up with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2019.

Jessica values taking the time to understand each individual’s story. She believes this approach allows her to offer patient-centered care, tailored to her patients’ specific goals. Jessica enjoys working with patients of all ages and on all types of musculoskeletal injuries.

She is a strong believer in continuous learning and improvement, and as such, has obtained her Level 1 Manual Therapy, Functional Dry Needling (Level 1 & 2), Foundations of Anatomical Acupuncture Certification, and Mulligan Upper Quadrant Certifications, Diagnostic Imaging for MSK Disorders, and has also completed training in concussion and TMJ management.
